Lucas Gray

Lucas Gray grew up in Melcher-Dallas, a small town in south-central Iowa. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Iowa State University and later completed a Master of Financial Management, with an emphasis in asset management, at Drake University.
After graduate school, Lucas and his wife, Brenna, moved to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where he gained experience conducting equity valuations for privately held companies. During this time, he obtained the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA®) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
In 2018, Lucas and Brenna relocated to Independence, Iowa. Shortly thereafter, Lucas opened Allerton Brewing Company while continuing his valuation work. In 2023, they expanded their local involvement by opening Premier Animal Wellness and Surgery, a veterinary clinic in Independence.
Most recently, prior to joining Cedar Valley Wealth Management, Lucas served as a Trading and Risk Specialist at a registered investment advisor in Cedar Rapids. In that role, he gained experience supporting advisors and monitoring accounts from a trading and risk-management perspective.
Lucas and his family—his wife, their two children, two dogs, two cats, along with chickens and horses—live on a small farm outside of Independence, where they enjoy the balance of community life and the outdoors
